Highlights
In summer, we offer our guests the possibility to enjoy a ride, either fast or slow, down to the valley from the Middle Station on a 4.6 km long gravel road with mountain carts. Guests can choose from 200 mountain carts in five different sizes. For guests who like alpine touring we offer a single ticket which includes the LVS Checkpoint, the avalanche warning level indicator, Skiline altitude differential statistics, two signed ascent routes plus permits for the slopes and parking. A freeride zone awaits powder snow specialists in the vicinity of the summit, next to Lower Austria’s steepest slope. For those who prefer high speeds, there is a speed run which includes a speed measurement system. The fun slope ensures that everybody enjoys themselves. The main attraction is our snow park right next to the Middle Station. There are 17 elements, of which 15 are rails/boxes and two are kickers. This guarantees fun for both our beginners and more advanced guests. To round off the facilities on offer we have an Alpine hut at the start of the snow park and a restaurant at the end of the park.
Infrastructure
The Terzer house, located at the Summit Station, is a modern restaurant with a panoramic terrace. Offering its guests regional dishes and breathtaking views, it is situated at the beginning of an 800 m panoramic road around the peak of the mountain; a road that is suitable for pushchairs and buggies and offers several places to rest. At the Middle Station, 1,300 m above sea level and at the start of the mountain cart track, you can find the welcoming alpine restaurant “s’Balzplatzerl”.
