Melk Abbey incorporates everything Baroque and is one of the most beautiful and finest Baroque examples in Europe. Visitors can expect fascinatingly designed museum rooms, magnificent halls such as the Marble Hall and library, an unforgettable view of the Danube valley and the high Baroque Abbey Church. The Abbey Park invites you to relax from April to October. From the panoramic terrace of the Northern Bastion you can enjoy a far-reaching view of the park, the monastery buildings and the surrounding areas.

Easily accessible from the A1 motorway / Connection to the coach park allows easy access to the Abbey
Groups and individual visitors who purchase admission tickets to Melk Abbey may use the parking lot free of charge. The parking ticket must be validated at the cash desk (first courtyard) when buying the admission tickets.

Guided tours for groups are possible between 9.00 and 4.30 pm, with prior reservation.
